  1. As discussed earlier Whole Time Equivalent (WTE) refers to the number of psychology hours available in a week using a denominator of the standard NHS fulltime working hours (37.5). A WTE of 0.1 equates to half a day per week, 1.0 equates to 5 days per week and greater than 1.0 indicates that there is more than one fulltime psychologist in the service (e.g. 1.2 WTE = 1 fulltime psychologist plus 1 day of another psychologist).
